Camarato Disposal is proud to announce that one of our trucks brought home an award at the 1st Annual NJ Summer Showdown Truck Show.

The event, hosted by Gear Jammer Magazine and Elizabeth Truck Center, happened on August 30, 2025, at the East Freehold Showgrounds in Freehold, New Jersey.

NJ Summer Showdown Truck Show

This event made its debut in 2025 and was an immediate success. Despite being organized in just 30 days, the show drew more than 364 registered trucks. Plus hundreds of vendors, sponsors, and spectators. From polished big rigs to specialized roll-off trucks, the event put the best of New Jersey’s trucking industry on display.

The show featured multiple competitions across different truck classes. Camarato Disposal competed in the Roll-Off Division, a category specifically highlighting trucks used for waste hauling and container transport. While the event included nearly 400 trucks in total, 10 participated in this division, making it an exclusive and competitive category.

How Camarato Disposal Competed

For the show, Camarato Disposal entered one of our signature roll-off trucks, operated by our driver Mike. The truck was carefully detailed, polished, and presented at its best to showcase not only its functionality but also the pride we take in maintaining a clean, professional fleet.

Judges considered a variety of factors, including appearance, condition, and presentation of the truck. Camarato Disposal’s entry stood out among tough competition, securing the top spot!

A special part of this event was that our founder, Marc Camarato, attended with his father. Making it a family moment that reflected the roots of our company and the hard work that has carried us forward since the beginning.
